Liberación Dharma

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Liberación is the Spanish word for Liberation. We choose this name in order to highlight our intention to explore the deep connections between cultural liberation and the individual liberation of the heart.

  • Liberación Dharma fundraising will go to three different places. First, roughly $2,000 will pay for your travel to Nicaragua. Second, 20% of the money raised will go to Campesino Commons operating expenses. The majority of the money you raise will go to fund the projects developed by our counterpart circles in Teotecacinte.

  • You will be expected to participate in every part of the program, as every element is deeply integrated into the whole. Part of the registration process is the determination of whether this program is right for you, and, during that time, you will have the opportunity to reflect on whether or not you want to participate. This time of reflection is critically important, as your agency is sacred, and you will be under no compulsion to go against your own will.

If you choose to step into this circle, you will be engaging in something that will change your life forever. You will build relationships with families in Teotecacinte, that, if nurtured, will last for the rest of your life. You will never see the world the same way.

Because of the commitment that will be asked of you, it is important that you to be all in before you register.
